ABOUT THE ART

In creating Unseen, we were inspired as much by the triumphant stories we’ve heard, as by the unimaginable ones we haven’t. In this drawing, the heroine has overcome the unthinkable to strive towards joy. Her anonymity provides an opportunity for reflection. This figure is a celebration of strength; not only the strength of the girls at My Refuge House, but also the strength of the incredible community who supports them. We believe that art works wonders, and our wish is that this piece will endure as a gesture of hope for anyone who has ever felt unseen.

Proceeds from the sale of this piece will be donated to My Refuge House.
