MY REFUGE HOUSE
The heart is an ancient symbol with an unkown origin. Universally familiar, it has grown to represent love and the center of human emotion. Ours was crafted as a reminder that we are bound together through compassion and clarity of purpose. My Refuge House is a non-profit organization that cares for survivors of human trafficking in the Philippines.

Crafted as a monogram, three abstracted letterforms merge to create our heart shape. It’s subtle imbalance implies an uplifting hope through forward motion, as the heart appears to be floating up from left to right.

Hidden within the arched letterforms is a stylized representation of the beautiful land and rolling waves that surround My Refuge House. Each element is a subtle hint of our home on a hill; designed as a reminder of our purpose.
The My Refuge House heart is emblematic of a state of mind that embraces all humankind.

Typographic expression is an extension of this visual identity. Each element has been typeset and is designed for heavy use. The consistent application of these common elements further reinforces the brand recognition.
